i only watched the whole of TCW in January and i was EXACTLY the same as you both. it truly fills in so many little bits & pieces of everything across the galaxy, and often as with this arc, in a VERY meaningful way. said it before and i'll say it again, the films are the border of the jigsaw and all the rest is the stuff that enables you to see a clearer, infinitely more detailed picture of the whole piece.
