2020-10-29 06:09:20 +0000 UTCI'm curious how you guys are gonna edit this down for YouTube because you seemed so wrapped up in just watching and taking everything in that you didn't say much at all lmfao So obviously Viola was Theo in Hill House, but Perdita was also a character in Hill House as well. Did you guys happen to catch who she was? She's not easily recognized. Speaking of Perdita, wild how literally everything is actually her fault. If she'd just waited for Viola to die naturally, if she'd just accepted her last wish for the trunk to go to Isabel, if she'd just left well enough alone, none of this shit would've happened. But nope. It's especially sad because I definitely got the impression that Arthur truly loved Viola and so settled for Perdita after she was gone, so Perdi murdered her sister to get with a man to whom she would always be the second choice. I mean hell, Arthur stood there and did nothing when Viola was slapping Perdita across the face right in front of him and his daughter. I really loved the way they had the whole episode in black and white but then slowly introduced color back in as Viola was sleepwalking through time leading up to the present. Very subtle but beautiful filmmaking.
