God I love this anime. Tied with Ace of Diamond for my favorite sports anime.

2021-03-26 20:22:38 +0000 UTCI'm so happy that you guys finally got to Haikyuu! I'm so glad you get to see another facet of Anime wherein no character is out to "Destroy" the world. Everyone in this show just loves to play Volleyball. Fun fact: Azumane Asahi means East Peak, Morning Sun and Yu Nishinoya means West Valley, Evening. (In Japanese Kanji) They're basically opposites of each other. Their birthdays are inversed (01/01 and 10/10) and obviously their height (short and tall). This was not really discussed in the show. There are other names with hidden meaning behind it but it will be on the show so I'll leave it there.
