Fun episode. The “Blade-wing” is the prototype for what becomes the “B-wing” - famously seen in Return Of The Jedi during the Endor space battle. The mass production B-wing does not have the ship-killer laser because it demands too much power, but is otherwise a heavy assault fighter that carries a good amount of more conventional guns and warheads.
