Kanan and Rex earned each other’s respect, as Ezra did general Sato’s The gravity well technology was introduced in legends books and video games. Hyper drives automatically cut out when a large body like a planet is detected; a gravity well creates a field of gravity simulating such a body. Gravity well equipped ships, called Interdictor Cruisers, can then prevent ships from leaving the area OR project a field along a known path to pull ships passing through out of hyper space. Since the Rebels use lots of hit and run tactics, this tech is very effective in the hands of a skilled tactician.
