The white/gold clad temple guard were seen at the end of the clone Wars, notably in season 5 when Ahsoka was wrongly accused. The guards served as bailiffs and general security at the temple. This episode revealed that the Grand Inquisitor was not only formerly a Jedi Knight, but a Temple Guard during the clone Wars. Presumably, Vader or the emperor recruited him to be the Inquisitor after Order 66. In this temple on Lothal, the force had a strong presence and manifested the now-dead Inquisitor in his “good” form as a force projection to teach Kansan and save the group
