As a cosplayer I often struggle between wanting to cosplay something that inspires me, versus cosplaying something popular and well known. What’s more important, wether a character suits me or wether a character is well known?
I want to do both in the coming year😊

Nice to see you may be doing Nefaria in the future. Dragalia Lost has lots of characters with unique designs and clothing, but so little cosplay of it.

2019-12-23 01:18:30 +0000 UTCGo for the characters that you enjoy the most. Going for the norm is nice & all, but if a cosplayer doesn't necessarily enjoy said character, then it wouldn't do for a genuine experience (if that makes any sense).

Cosplayers shine brightest when they enjoy the character they're cosplaying versus doing it because its popular. Both can be good, mind you.
