2022-07-25 09:19:36 +0000 UTCAn interesting trivia is that the tactical droid is in fact Kalani, the one that appeared on the Onderon arc of Clone Wars (where the Jedi helped train the Onderon rebels, Saw Gerrera among them). At the end of the arc, Dooku orders Kalani to take the fleet to Agamar, which is where this episode took place. It's a nice reference.

2021-09-01 15:45:29 +0000 UTCRemember that when this Rebels episode first aired, there was no Clone Wars season 7 and Disney had only recently cancelled Clone Wars. Although Filoni was running the show, there was still backlash from jilted CW fans. This episode was an emotional throwback and tiny bit of closure - down to not just the modified logo, but the OG clone wars end music too! We didn’t get major plot advancement but it was LOADS of fun and a big moment for Rex putting some trauma behind him. Ezra also got to shine This was also ridiculously good timing to watch this episode the same week as Bad Batch’s “Decommissioned” - how amazing is it that Rex says “Good soldiers follow orders” and we chuckle; Wrecker says it and we cry. Filoni couldn’t have scripted this week any better
