I think one thing you guys haven't noticed about the parasytes is that they don't have the ability to reproduce (they don't alter the DNA inside the germ cells of their host body hence even if they control the bodies to have sex, the born babies are still humans), which forbids them to be identified as "organism" since "reproduction" is one of the core characteristics of any organism in biology.
