Yeah i did like The Boy and The Beast but i think Wold Children made a better job at character development and stuff, some parts felt a bit rushed for me in The Boy And The Beast, still a very good one !

2021-07-05 00:25:58 +0000 UTCI love this movie. There's also "The Boy and the Beast" from the same people that really hits in the feels, at least for me. "The Wolf Children" is more about motherhood and "The Boy and the Beast" is more about fatherhood. I think they really compliment each other, so if you're up for seeing another really good movie, I recommend watching it.

2021-07-02 16:59:45 +0000 UTC@Sylfarion Yeh, the new anime movies and just anime in general has been getting bigger and bigger, so maybe this movie just got overshadowed from the growth of anime in 2012 to now in 2021. I did do my research and this movie is well beloved, so I'm glad I was able to watch another amazing movie!

2021-07-01 20:38:29 +0000 UTCIt's not underrated, it's one of the biggest Animated Movies made by Mamoru Hosoda, a big name in movie animation. Nowadays it's just not watched as much since so many "new stuff" got out since then and it's considered "old" so it's a bit forgotten i guess. It's my favorite animated movie and i'm so glad they reacted to it so new people can discover this one
