After the Ahsoka related episodes, this might be THE most critical episode of all, given how we left Mando S2 and how much focus the dark saber has been given. It is one of my favorites, and although it is “small’ in scale, taking place at a campsite with a small cast, EVERYONE involved absolutely killed it. Freddy Prince Jr as Kanaan playing the mentor role, pushing Sabine, and Tiya Sircar ABSOLUTELY CRUSHING as Sabine. I hope they give her live action Sabine in any potential appearances The animation and music was next level, and Filoni put his goddamn soul into this episode, this shit was HEAVY. I know you are wondering how the darksaber changes hands, but I think the real takeaway from this episode is how much this damn blade means to the Mandalorians and how much of a roll it put on Sabine. In Mando s3 I hope we get this level of intensity when we learn about the darksaber - it’s gonna be freakin mind blowing And Sabine is elite waifu material
