What a showcase for a Thrawn, a complete threat. Not only did he see through Kallus’ deception, he also trains with and defeated two droids that appeared to be prototype Dark Troopers. Their appearance seems close to what we saw in the training area from Bad Batch episode 1. We have seen Colonel Yularen before: he was the white haired dude in the conference room with Tarkins and Vader aboard the Death Star in New Hope, which is a couple years forward in time from this. A younger, dark-haired Yularen was seen frequently serving on Venator with Obiwon and Anakin in Clone Wars. He switched from fleet officer to intelligence with ISB during the transition to Empire.
