2021-08-01 01:34:06 +0000 UTCI’d suggest rewatching that ending but between AP5 And Rex when they comment where the group is headed now. It’s pretty big. So in sum, to not even win, but just survive with massive losses, the Rebels needed Konstantine to fuck up, Mando surprise attack, and a Bendu Force Storm. Thrawn is truly, horrifically effective if that’s what it takes to skirt by. There’s lot of parallels to ESB’s Hoth attack, but U see the difference between Thrawn attentiveness and Vader’s arrogance. Thrawn brought multiple Interdictors to cut off hyperspace attacks, he bombarded the shield to get it nearly overloaded and landed ground forces WITH AIR SUPPORT. This episode also did a great job tying together lots of elements from the whole season: the Interdictors, whose purpose we saw earlier, the Y-wings stolen by Ezra were seen in the space battle, as were the hammerhead corvettes Leia brought, the Mando fighters and Clan Wren, Bendu, and Thrawn’s cold relationship with Konstantine.
