just for extra info a Taminya which is the shrine is for the dead is what is shown for Touya. Didn't want to be spoilery but it's just a cultural thing. (man I had so many typos lol definitely had to edit)

2021-08-08 02:16:52 +0000 UTCSo a little bit of info for ya, the part where you hear Rei’s reaction to her burning of Shoto, the anime didn’t show it, but in the manga what she’s trying to do is using her ice quirk to try and sooth Shoto’s burn. But with a burn like that, applying ice is the LAST thing you should do. And that’s what ultimately gave Shoto his scar, it’s a frost burn.
