Poll!

Should we add a new show to replace Fullmetal or should we add an extra episodes of Steins;Gate and Castlevania per week instead?

(Patrons will vote in the poll for a new show if that option wins)

re zero

William Abbott

You guys should watch a new show!! I suggest Re: Zero or Soul Eater.

Kirbotome

or*

takfogger

FATE ZERO if MADOKA MÁGICA PLSSSS

takfogger

Major. It's the best sport anime. Also in my top 3 anime of all time

bjorken

I didn't say it was a classic, but I do think that people give it far too little credit, since back in 2012 it was the anime that saved all anime! (According to the old school weebs)

imcalledgpk

Honestly, I think Kill La Kill is a bit overrated, I would definitely not place it in the same grouping of Cowboy Bebop or Neon Genesis Evangelion, those are classics. It's good, don't get me wrong but it way too new to be in classic territory, give it another 10 years

DarkAshtar

I'm gonna throw a couple anime classics I haven't seen named Trigun and Baccano. (Don't get me wrong I love Cowboy Bebop) I just like stirring the pot a bit lol

DarkAshtar

Tokyo revengers!

zavi

Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Konosuba, or Kill la Kill. I will guarantee watch along with any of those.

imcalledgpk

I second this.

imcalledgpk

Kill La Kill anyone? Anyone?

As for anime: HIGHLY recommend Gurren Lagann and Cowboy Bebop. Cowboy Bebop is an all time classic space western anime with big time feels. Gurren Lagann starts out as a whimsical fighting robot anime but don't let it fool you, it will draw you in and have you screaming in excitement and emotion as it turns the genre on its head. Also I have two HUGE movie recommendations, I PROMISE these WILL NOT disappoint! They are both actually documentaries, although the latter is some sort of blend of fiction and documentary (though Banksy attests its all legit). The two movies are "A Fistful of Quarters: The King of Kong" and "Exit Through The Gift Shop: A Banksy Film". A fistful of quarters is about the Donkey Kong World Record and how in 2003 Steve Wiebe, who had recently lost his job, learns about the record, and decides to try and beat it. It sets off a whole huge chain of events you SWEAR was from a scripted movie, but its all 100% real! It'll have you hooked the entire ride that spans the decades! Exit through the gift shop is a bit harder to explain, but it follows Banksy and Shepard Fairey (two of the most prominent street artists) as well as an amaetur named Mr.Brainwash. It has got some really cool looks at street art and behind the scenes with some big names, but the plot itself slowly devolves into many interesting twists and turns. Sorry if that was long winded, I hope you might get to see this!

ReZero or love is war

William Abbott

Love Death Robots is pretty good.

Grandmazter3 .

.....afro samurai......madoka magika..... and the classic cowboy bebop (since the Netflix live action show is right around the corner)....also recommending my personal favorite neon genisis evangelion

Its ame mario

If you want something that’s really good for October/Halloween i recommend a Horror anime like Shiki.

Osvaldo

Poll needs a third option, "For the love of God, something that isn't animated!"

Thomas Yanez

Plastic memories( short and sweet anime)

J0KER545

Didn’t realize they hadn’t seen it yet so I’m going to echo the Cowboy Bebop suggestion! (If the “new show” wins the poll)

LASmeenk

Or Fruits Basket

CeruleanApple

They have.

JT

I think they would find konosuba hilarious or Re:zero

Ryonko

Why nobody mentioned ReZero? It is one of the best anime according to Japanese fandom

Mr Ri

Isn't Tokyo Revengers still going out? they can wait for that to end, and pick something ended already, Vinland Saga was amazing Cowboy Bebop is a classic.

Vasto

I reccomend Gurren Lagann, it's also got a really good English DUB which I'm usually biased against on a lot of other shows 😅

JT

Steins: Gate gets epic later into the eps so adding is great, also as new series, Erased is compact and good, Dr. Stone, new and prommising, Barakamon!, also compact, uniqe and relaxing. This one is a slice of life one though. No action or riddles, but more laughter.

Hal.

Would've preferred more Castlevania episodes, personally. But when it comes to new series, I suggest Violet Evergarden. It's the only really popular modern series that I'm surprised is never suggested here lol.

Cowboy Bebop is very good, and has a live action adaptation coming in November. So lots of people are rewatching or watching content related to it. Another good one is Erased its a few years old now, but only like 12 episodes, and one of my favorite that I watched this year.

Paige McCourt

code geass is a very good choice

Code Geass, Vinland Saga, Konosuba, Made in Abyss! All of those are AMAZING

Vasto

the great pretender plss

Shobith Bandaru

Dr stone!

Gustavo

i think we should have a break in shounen super power anime shows and go for something more low key like Erased imo

Yes! Vinland Saga or Cowboy Bebop

Dezmond Broadway

I vote for a new show! Vinland Saga or Made in Abyss would be GREAT

AndreaLorenzi

i meaaaaan, banana fish isn't too long and such an underrated show

Henry Jovani

I’m going for an outlier here, Black Lagoon. It’s more violent then most of its contemporaries, but I put it up there with Cowboy Bebop, which I also recommend. Both of these are shorter, so it shouldn’t take too long to get through.

Matthew Richson

Tokyo Revengers, Cowboy Bebop, or Vinland Saga! R u taking request here...hopefully?! These r elite anime!

Alex cleveland

Just want more castlevania and Steins Gate... I hope they pick Re Zero if they're watching a new show.

R Maini

I know majority wins but I love Castlevania so so much I wish we could get more episodes so bad 😭

Jackson

Praying for Code Geass 🙏🏾😂
