Also the other thing to keep in mind with the Heaven's Arena thing as far as them not being super interested with the going all the way up, as you mentioned is that they are supposed to meet up with Leorio and Kurapika in Yorknew city for the auction in a few months after Hisoka had given Kurapika the message about the spiders. (I had to stop to remember the auction had been mentioned lol)
