She didn't have a welcoming personality and toyed with people, but her actions ended up helping. While Bondrewd was very warm and welcoming and his actions had you in an elevator going up from the sixth layer.

I will agree the anime does a very good job of separating nudity and sexualization by using neutral blank art styles for the bodies, not showing curves and such in these scenes. Stringing children up naked is a weird form of punishment and as it is set in a fantasy world I don’t think it necessarily needs to be there in order to be “historically authentic” but it’s also not really in the show other than that half second scene so I overlook it. It is interesting how Riko and Reg view each other though. Reg is completely aware of these situations and feels very uncomfortable, thinks of himself as a regular human rather than a robot, and treats Riko how you would expect another adolescent boy to treat a girl of the same age. Riko on the other hand from the very start experiments on Reg while he is asleep as if he is some animal to dissect, constantly refers to him as a robot, gives him the name of her old dog, doesn’t mind being nude in front of him (or Marulk who ironically is actually a boy unbeknownst to her during that scene). So I don’t really have a problem with any of the scenes other than the one where Hablog is “checking out Reg’s equipment” and it’s played off as some practical joke to the audience. With Riko and Reg it tracks and makes sense for their characters to be going through that changing hormone stage of their life (or just Riko, who knows how Reg is built), but it just didn’t feel right for the show to act like it’s an alright thing for an adult to force on Reg and play it off as comedy. The manga on the other hand is a completely different story, I put that thing down after issue two and never picked it back up. I’ll stick with the anime adaptation.

Especially Bondrewed, he's an out and out scoundrel. And we have just scratched the surface with Bondrewd....he's honestly one of my all time favourite villains

Neither is simply seeing a 12 year old naked, and its super normal for a young teens with buzzing hormones to act like that, i think a lot of people are really sensed about this topic, also i know that kidnapping and stuff like that is one of the major usa problem's right now, i understand but not everything is presented in this way in art especially, Made in Abyss and Mushoku Tensei are often mentioned, but as you can see those titles are special, perspective is everything.
