Mestizo Mexicans are those mixed with European and indigenous mexican though millions of them are white passing. In chads case I’m guessing he’s probably half mexican and half Japanese.

As for the comment of liking characters with aesthetic, my favorite character in this anime is exactly what you are talking about. This is one of the few animes I never rewatched and Im really enjoying the perspective of recognizing foreshadowing... but damn Anthony is right... the recap in this show is nearly unbearable, it absorbs about as much time as a laugh track does in sitcoms.
