Hoping you guys also check out some of the DC animated movies. That way you get a perspective of how cynical/disappointed some of us older DC animation fans get whenever we see another "mid" DC live action movie. Some suggestions off the top of my head (all stand alone):
- Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (2010)
- Batman: Assault on Arkham (2014) (the first good Suicide Squad movie)
- Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010)
- Gods and Monsters (2015)(DC "what if" movie)
- Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010)
- Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (2012-13) (the better Batman vs Superman 2-part movie)
- Constantine: City of Demons (2018) (can be watched solo, but is part of the New 52 cinematic universe after Flashpoint Paradox)
- Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013) (kicks off the DCAU New 52 arc. DC's equivalent to the MCU that Snyder wished he made)
- All-Star Superman (2010)

I love Tim burtons style for this movie alot even more than the last one made us feel for Penguin, batman and catwoman . Batman and catwoman chemistry was off the charts and all the symbolism was great too. Batman Under the Red Hood is definately a film you should check out too DC has some great animated films
