And Ikkaku is a third seat, one rank below lieutenant, but his strength is lieutenant-level. The only reason Ikkaku isn't a lieutenant is because Yachiru (the pink-haired kid) gets special treatment from Kenpachi Zaraki and got the lieutenant position.
