Regarding Mikasa moving on, I would love you to rewatch and examine the people coming to the tree during the ending credit, as there may be some information.

2023-11-18 06:58:09 +0000 UTCI think it's crazy how it all lead up to Mikasa kissing Eren after she killed him for Yimer to finally let Go! It was the one thing Yimer couldn't do. ( to kill the one you love even tho they did awful things)And so things had to play out the way they did for that one moment. Cuz remember Eren said I still don't know what it was that Mikasa did to changer her mind. And it was the kiss (I don't think eren knew what it was because he was dead by that point obviously) at least that's my theory anyways. I loved that the ending was so realistic, like the problem of evil/sin in this world... humanity repeating the same mistakes because we are human. But love is the counter for evil. In this case Mikasa love ...and in humanity love and respect and understanding

2023-11-06 00:43:22 +0000 UTCDefinitely one of the best anime series out there, i think ending was satisfying, not perfect but good enough for me at least. The biggest flaw of this series in my opinion was the release schedule and wait, people got exhausted waiting for x final season and the hype got lower because of that, regardless still great series. There are only couple as great anime series but the real gems that unfortunately never get a proper anime adaptation like Berserk, Oyasumi PunPun, Gantz, Vagabond are still out there as manga, and i would argue are better.
