Fun fact: Jason Alexander (George) learned that ending monologue in just a few minutes and nailed it on the first take. Larry David and Jerry were not happy with the original ending and rewrote the scene in the diner. They gave Jason the new monologue just minutes before shooting and only had time for one quick rehearsal. A genuine testament to how good an actor Jason Alexander is.

2024-09-21 02:03:26 +0000 UTCThe big story episodes like this really show off the writing when they were cooking and draws people in, but honestly the reason I think a lot of people feel so affectionate about this show isn't the funny situations and how they play out but all the little moments. The looks they give, the gestures, the cadence, its like they all act a fiting way according to the "Seinfeld World." Puddy is a perfect example. He is just super funny, never does anything too nuts.
