So, the reason for the decil worm to start making the more powerful variant is because of the zombie virus killing the host so as the worm takes over the undead it counts them as out of fuel and directly starts making the pits for the more powerful variants, genius as in otherwise the wrom would've had taken more time as explained the cleaners didn't know why there were no infected after some time
