I actually think Bruno is handsome. He has a great smile. I suppose I get that he’s maybe not the stereotypical six pack model but I do think he’s beautiful. So I found the judgement about his looks a little unbelievable at first.

We had this conversation at the clinic where I work with a group of trans men. They were torn about the matter. On the one hand, a non-gender-centered upbringing (boy stuff, girl stuff) would have been less violent for many of them, but on the other hand, having a difference made between boys and girls allowed them to recognize themselves as men. It was an interesting debate. No single answer was reached, but it provoked a lot of insights. I hope this makes sense. Bear with me, English is not my first language. 🙂

I could see both sides of the argument/fight with prejudices, and kinda judging too quickly etc, they were both being stubborn/defensive, and I had a feeling it would kinda end like it did.
