this won't be a carbon copy per scene, but the plot is very similar. For that reason, you will feel like it's different enough, but you'll be constantly comparing. This version has higher "production" whereas Skam Norway felt more authentic I suppose, this feels like a tv show. But it's artistically done and they made beautiful scenes in this version.

The other ones make me feel like I´m just watching a TV show. Wich does not make them bad, it just makes SKAM Norway so much better. If that makes sense..

2023-05-16 15:39:28 +0000 UTCThe reason you guys get the feeling they're in university is because all the actors are are about that age at this point (early to mid 20s I believe). In the original series all the actors were teenagers (except for Even's actor Henrik Holms who was 20) and some even went to school at the filming location. In Skam France (and Italy) all the actors are a bit older and there are reoccurring arguments amongst the fans about the idea of portraying adult bodies as teenagers and whether that's a healthy practice. I personally don't mind (Skam Italy and France are my favorite remakes) but some Skamfans prefer Druck (the German Skam) partially because it has a more honest portrayal of teenagers in a teen show.

2023-05-16 04:57:10 +0000 UTCYes as many have mentioned, except from some things here and there, it's one of the remakes closest to the original, so I think there will be a lot of comparison with SKAM Norway in your disgussion, as you go through the episodes, but I don't mind that, and I love especially Axel(Lucas) acting, and yes as you mentioned it's more cinematic than OG SKAM, which had a more indie movie feel to it I think. The guys in the friend group here are Basille, Yann and Arthur, and The girls are Imanne, Emma, Daphne, Alexia and Manon(she went to London with her boyfriend Charles, Just like Noora did with William), and the room mates are Mika and Lisa, and then you saw Elliott and Cloe as well. Hope you enjoy it too despite it being that semilar to what you already watched.
