The Isak telling Jonas scene is probably my favorite in OG Skam. I dont get why, when they copied so much of the narrative from OG Skam, they would change that one and go with this weird narrative instead..? But I agree that apart from the similarities in the story, this version has a totally different vibe. Personally I miss the realness of OG..

My mom was mad because I came out to her in my early 20’s, but she’d asked me if I was gay when I was 15 and “I lied to her”. It was an awful feeling and at the base of both reactions, they weren’t comfortable with my sexuality. In my experience, that reaction comes from people who are homophobic but who are trying not to show it because they know it’s wrong, and in all fairness don’t want to be. 10ish years later they’ve really tried and come a long way, but there have been some very difficult moments and I’m no longer comfortable bringing significant others around as the first time I did… was horrible. It’s pretty shitty to be told “I’m not homophobic” by someone, only to have them turn around and act in an extremely homophobic way.

2023-06-26 09:57:37 +0000 UTCThis is where the chemistry between Lucas and Elliot actually starts although I fell like there is an element of suspended disbelief that you could get away with a whole-ass sexcapade in a room next to the teacher's lounge (after hours or no it has an exposed window to a courtyard too) . Elliot's actor does have some amazing eyes and does longing glances well but this pairing isn't quite up to the same level as Isak and Even (although I feel the same about almost all the other versions of this pairing). I prefer Martino's season in SKAM Italia.

They need to talk. Poor Lucas was distraught at the start of this episode. When his flatmates did their "intervention" thing...well I just wanted to give him a big hug. I still don't "get" these two as much as Isak & Even. They're very sexy together, and both actors are very good, but that real chemistry between them? Nope. Not feeling it.

The intervention shows how they care for Lucas, and I understand that he was so upset, because of Eliott and because he thought he might have lost his best friend. Such good acting from Axel/Lucas, I had tears in my eyes first time I watched it and almost had again here watching your reaction. Nice that Basile and Arthur was so supportive, even if they might be overcompensating a bit and Daphne too, even if she was a tad too enthusiastic, and it could seem, like she thought, he was more cool/trendy now, and she finally had a gay male friend, but I think, she was very excited for him to be his true self.

Both coincidentally starring Nicholas Galitzine. Would also love it if you guys reacted to the queer elements of Ted Lasso season 3.

There are rumours going around the school that Lucas is gay and they’ve heard the rumours so they are trying to show him, admittedly in an obvious sort of awkward way, that they don’t care. That they love him and will support him whatever his sexuality is. They are just sort of clueless dorks, but definitely well meaning.

To be brief in case, the other post gets deleted, the Director intentionally kept the two actors the park because they had become friends, and he wanted them to naturally feel like they had been away from each other for several days . They were wearing jockstraps to cover their penises during the sex scene, but they fell off during the filming. And the actors did not stop acting together let us stay for several minutes after the Director Guild cut they could not get them to stop . None of this is a joke. This is all real. There are interviews about it on YouTube. I just want to mention it because it’s kind of a legend in the phantom and of course it’s real . Thank you again for being so smart and funny and I’m caring so much about the campus. These characters just like OG were real and are real to so many people. Thanks again.
