SKAM FRANCE EP 9 - UNCUT

Comments

I love the way all the SKAM series and even Young Royals (Simon and Ayub) are shifting the portrayal of what male platonic relationships can be. I think it is so important to showcase men being vulnerable with each other, relying on each other for real advice and support and showing each other affection.

What an emotional ending! I thought the OG ending to this episode was great, but this was just incredible. Of course Alex's jump scare causing Josh to jump made me laugh! That song though, both here and in Young Royals is so powerful.

I love how it is Basile, that gives Lucas the advice of experience at lunchbreak in school. We see a New side to him just like Magnus in OG SKAM. I love the support the flatmates/friends have for each other with both Lucas and Manons situations. Nico Charles brother took pictures of her sleeping while only in her underwear. Like what Williams brother did to Noora in OG SKAM. Seems like she didnt have the courage to fully repport him, but she left Charles in London, because he stood by his brother more than her, and he worked most of the time and just left her to herself. When Lucille texted Lucas, that noone could find Elliott, first time I watched the episode I knew exactly where he would be, because Lucas was that special to be the only one knowing about Elliotts special place. And I love the song they use, when Lucas runs to Elliott, the same song Simon sings in season 1 of Young Royals, but SKAM France was the first of the two to use it.

Very interesting! Thanks for sharing this

Agghh, it's the song from Young Royals. At 29:34. The song that Simon & the choir sing at the school's memorial for Erik when Wilhelm returns after the funeral. I'm triggered, I tells ya! ...& at 30:46 Josh spots it, kinda.

Fun fact : they could only use the place for one night so they shot the first kiss and the last scene of this episode back to back, and the actors had like ten minutes in between (that's why Axel -who plays Lucas- still has wet hair). They talked about how hard it was (especially for Maxence -who plays Eliott) to have to go from the happiest ever to the darkest of places that quickly.

Powerful!!!!

Geez you slipped this one in while I was watching Episode 8? Aren’t you the sly ones. Thanks Josh and Alex!
