SKAM FRANCE FINALE - UNCUT!

SKAM FRANCE FINALE - UNCUT!

Comments

Belgium (WTFock) is my fave Y’all should watch Robbie & Sander

Jini McClelland

I agree! Even was a little more frank, saying “I’ll hurt you and you’ll hate me…” and Isak was a little more stubborn, saying “no” and that Even doesn’t know how this is going to end so they are going to live in the present and take it chill. They express it differently but it is the same idea. And I LOVE Evan’s face when Isak says “no, you don’t know shit about how this is going to end.” Because that is pretty forceful for Isak and he wants Even to know he is not giving up.

I was recommended on a heartstopper page to come watch Skam OG and France. I started with Norway and I found it was ok but I didn't really connect with any of the characters ( maybe Isak ). I was worried I would feel the same about this one but OMG I absolutely love this series. The chemistry is off the charts and i got a lot more invested with all the character storylines. Love it 😍

Cathy Mills

With all due respect, I feel that the OG did have that conversation. It was just more hidden because the OG wasn’t quite as polished. I have so much respect for Tarjei because he was a teenager when he did his role.

yeah, no, i only watched it all the way through cause you watched honestly, but i can't with the more melodramatic approach. and skam's charm and perfection to me WAS the fact that it wasn't "polished" and like any other production. polished doesn't automatically mean better especially when it's about very stripped down feelings and honesty, i think in the og the format was actually part of the storytelling. here the format is just the same thing we always see (i know it feels more familiar, but familiar is not necessarily better either). i respect the fact that other people were touched more by the story being told like this, i guess it depends on how you're built or whatever, and occasionally i do think it was an improvement for some of the big points to be clarified/spelled-out (the genius of the og show was that most of them *were* actually conveyed but much more through "showing" rather than "telling") but as a whole these more "in-depth conversations", to me, were very preachy and felt forced, something i never once felt when watching og skam. and that is made worse by the fact that the "showing" in this version is also very exaggerated. i realize most people like this type of acting and it's more familiar but... og skam felt so real to me, a breath of fresh air, i've never felt so close to any characters as i do to sana and isak and even and girl-chris in particular (and i never thought i'd feel particularly close to norwegians :)) ), while this was just a show that i wasn't particularly into. also in this version i like the group of friends theoretically, but the execution is terrible, it's all so forced, it took me out of the story all the time, all those moments of "comedic relief" and the fact that none of them feel like actual teenagers... nope.

Nah, I agree this was more polished, but I didn’t like that. The essence of OG Skam was that it was for teens from a teen perspective. This feels more like a show about a 25+ friendsgroup, the conversations are often too mature. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just miss the realistic touch. I also don’t think OG brushed over the bipolar, they just handled it more like teens would.

annanas

I have to agree with you boys. While the OG was great, this was even greater. The depth of conversations was superior in this version. They emotions were stronger. Nothing at all against the OG, but yeah, this one got me in the feels more.

Chris Metzger

Boys, seriously? Nothing will ever be funnier than Mags, Vilde, the cat bauble and Josh's face when Vilde starts meowing! And we find out in S.4 that they really are made for each other. I've warmed a bit to Lucas & Elliott, and I adore the "Eskild" character, but I detest the two friends! They play the roles like they're in a farce, totally OTT. I find it really jarring.

Jacqueline Hahn

There were so many beautiful conversations and moments in this episode and I think it did a couple of things better, but I feel like this series was a bit *too* polished for the age group. OG was raw and felt more authentic. Plus Even was much more beautiful than Elliott (who looks like a vampire) and he had that hair… Lucas and Even would be perfect together.

The SKAM France 🇫🇷 version is the best of them all . ❤️

Ingela Gjomakaj

In The OG the actor's are 17-19 years old, some of them even go to the same school as they filmed SKAM in. When you don`t see all the Insta stories and their messenger chat you will not understand the series at the same level. So I think our friends here did`t not get the hole story. In OG the music was perfect, but in this version the music did not mean any thing other that it`s nice to listen to. I loved the French version of Isak and Even, but OG is still the best version for me.

You should check out Druck, the German Skam version, because you liked Skam France more than the OG, than you will defenetely love Druck even more, it is my fav of the Skam versions, and they gave the OG story a little well done spin! Druck (which means Pressure in german) iss sooooooo good, would loveto see your reaction to it!

Nicky Van den Bosch

Wow this was so beautiful!!! It took me 5 episodes to warm up to Lucas and Elliott but I finally got there.

Diane Furlong

Skam France stuck the landing so well. As much as I love the OG, they really needed conversations like the ones between Lucille and Lucas and Elliott and Lucas. It just made the show feel so much more grounded and real. And I love the conversation about how Elliott has pills but won’t always take them when he’s feeling well, and how Lucas will want to check and monitor him. Just such important conversations to have and it feels like the OG brushed over those issues. I also liked how the girls and guys groups were more intertwined in this version so the storylines from other seasons continued to progress even though this season focused on Lucas.

Crystal Pritchard

The OG' is my favorite, somehow it felt more realistic and not so dramatised as this version. But I'm happy they have made other versions of Skam, so that the important story lines can reach more people ♥️

Anita

Maybe at some point they'll do Wtfock and Druck, but for now my guess is, they'll take a break from SKAM, because next is Heartstopper season 2, and Young Royals uncuts, Bad Buddy and some movie reactions in the near future, if I dont remember it wrong.

Sara Nissen

Watching this in real time was the most frustrating thing ever. Because even though they made some changes, they followed the OG' storyline pretty close all season, so you knew what to expect. And here, we had that Saturday morning scene with Lucille and then nothing all week-end. And we were waiting for the equivalent of Even waking up in bed while Isak watches over him, and the "minute by minute" talk. And nothing. And nothing. And we were waiting. And everyone was like "they're not gonna have this conversation, they just deleted that scene, it's over, i can't believe they did that". And we were all so mad ! And then came Monday. And THAT scene. And yeah, that shut us all up to say the least. I'm just so grateful they added this depth to Eliott and Lucas. Their relationship means the world to me. Honestly, you should react to season 6. It's by far the best season apart from s3, the main character is bi and in a sapphic relationship and Eliott has a huge role in the season and you see a lot of how him and Lucas evolved. In season 5 as well, but it's more in the background. But anyway, thank you so much for these reactions ♥

Anne M.

Loved your reaction ❤️ If WTFock is not next - we will be having words you two 👉🏼👈🏼

Yes that conversation between Lucas and Eliott needed to happen, and I love it too, when Lucas said, that he'd rater have all of him, than not having him at all. I understand if some might think OG SKAM kinda brushed over that in a way, but I think they handled it in their own way, which was good too. I love the conversation with Lucille, that they could talk maturely about it, and she really loves Eliott and just had to accept, even when it was clearly hard, that she had to let Eliott go/hand him over to Lucas so to speak, because of their love for each other, but he couldnt end up with a better person. And then the voiceover advice about how to handle his situation from her experience was done so well. I love how Basille stood up for Daphne, and I think that was one of the things, that made her see, that he really cares, even if he didnt express it in the best way at first, and also that he hoped to some day be good enough for her, and when he turned down the girl, that was the final moment. Its so sad, when Manon goes to take that call and comes back crying. Its clearly something to do about Charles, but if you were to at any time watch season 4, you'll get more into that. And the final shot at Iman is the perfect transition to her season/season 4. Also season 5 about Arthur(the guy with the glasses) is my 2nd favorite season after this season 3 you just finished, so would be awesome if you did that too, but probbably it will only be on your own time, if you do, I guess, and season 6 about Daphne is great too. After season 6, they focus on a New group of teenagers, that as far as I remember Daphnes sister is a part of(we see her in season 6), and currently they are at season 12, so SKAM France is the version of SKAM with the most seasons so far.

Hello! Thanks again for an amazing reaction. I just wanted to let you guys know how important it is that you mentioned Eliott being able to speak for himself about his mental illness. OG is forever, the original and special in my heart, but Even didn’t get to talk about that on screen. This season was perfection and I’m glad you guys loved it. I would be impossibly happy if you decided to watch WtFock next. They made some very interesting decisions, and I would love to see your guises opinion about this. It’s not the same roller coaster ride. It’s. It’s different . Thanks again!

Mathew Aquino

I’m excited for this too!! Hopefully it’ll be somewhat happy and calm.
