I literally watched the movie on Netflix today so that I can watch your reaction right after. Was not disappointed 🤍.

2024-08-31 21:41:41 +0000 UTCI saw this movie in the theater with some friends and we were all just so happy the whole time. We all loved it so much that we were discussing some of the topics they hit on in the film. I had mentioned that my family is supportive now, but they still like to make jokes once in a while about how I think I'm butch, etc (I don't think that, I set them straight when this comes up) and they ask me why I just talk about "gay stuff" online and just watch "gay stuff" and I just tell them, "frankly, I am so tired of hearing about and watching straight things" and my friends all agreed (we're all queer). It's true though, I just got to a point where all the straight media out there became very boring to me. I'm not saying that I don't watch anything with a straight couple anymore but now, it's very few and far between and I'm glad I get to be in a time where there is lots of queer media to choose from now. :)

Have you seen Billy's work on John Oliver's show? Also very funny 🙂

2023-07-21 12:46:09 +0000 UTCPicture this, last summer I was on a wild movie craze thanks to Top Gun Maverick. I was obsessed therefore I was at the movies A lot! Sometime during the summer I saw the Bros Trailer. Well, Luke MacFarlane had my attention at the first gaze into the camera. Plus I thought that the movie looked like fun. The movie didn’t premiere here until the end of September so I saw several interviews with the cast before hand. I felt pretty well prepared. I don’t consider myself a prude and thought I kind of understood the gist of Gay life. Keep in mind that I’m a 72 old Straight female. I went into the movie with an open mind. By the time I got about a half hour into the movie I had gotten a little bit out of my comfort zone but I still enjoyed the basic story. I waited about a week to give myself some time and saw the movie again and Loved it!!! That started my journey of LGBTQ actors and movies. In November I came across Heartstopper. In January or February ASWT popped up on my YouTube feed and here I am. This 72 year old proud Ally might possibly have more LGBTQ related content in their playlist than some folks in the community 😂 and I’m loving it!
