We hope you are all enjoying the ASWT Patreon.
We wanted to do a little housekeeping in response to some of the worrying and alarming messages that have been popping up on posts and DMs lately.
Please respect and be patient where you can. We are currently doing 3 different shows! The most we've done on rotation ever. We always ensure that content is released on here in advance of youtube releases and we are working to a release of an episode per series per week! Plus additional exclusive content for our Gold members where we can.
There is also so much happening in the background across our other platforms, including discord, merch planning and more. We always put our Patrons first as valued members of the community and we appreciate all your support. Without it we would not be where we are!
With the above in mind, please understand that sending rude and disrespectful messages gets us nowhere. It's not the behaviour we expect of our community and it doesn't make things go any faster. Disrespectful messages including those that 'demand for content faster' and criticise how we work will in future be deleted.
Please remember, this is a space of love and respect. We hope this goes both ways.

I truly hope these are isolated incidents that will now go away all together. Yes, we all want more, and yes, this is now Alex's full-time job, but that isn't the case for Josh. Also, they do have a life outside of YouTube/Patreon! Alex and Josh, I'm sorry if this has added stress to your lives. I enjoy and appreciate both of you, immensely.

And the times you don't, you always provide an explanation as to why the content will take a bit longer etc. You put so much time and effort into providing the content that we all enjoy and love. People feel so entitled that they expect you to be literal work machines, providing the exact content they want IMMEDIATELY. No one HAS to pay to watch the content, it'll (almost) always be up on youtube (albeit in a little different format and a little later but still), so people choosing to support you and then DEMANDING content in a manner that is far beyond any normal human beings capabilities is so gross to me. Criticism provided in a helpful and respectful manner is probably greatly encouraged, seeing as they (Alex & Josh) always want to improve as content creators, but just being a straight up asshole about it isn't going to do you nor the content creator any favor. If anything, getting a substantial amount of hate when working hard on providing the promised content may eventually take the joy out of it and then you'll be left with no content at all. Plus, you know, the knowledge of having completely ruined the passion and joy someone found in their hobby. And as y'all said, this is supposed to be a safe space where people feel comfortable and welcome to be themselves and share their opinions about queer content. NOT a place for hate and unnecessary, rude criticism. To josh and Alex, just keep being your authentic and honest selves and the people who truly respect you will always support you in the ways that we can! All the love! ❤️🔥
