Four months later, how has it been going for the renewal campaign so far? I'm genuinely so, so deeply devastated about the cancellation. I really hope there is a chance we'll see our boys again.

People are being “polite menaces” to Max and WBD – calling, emailing, politely storming their SoMe accounts etc. Yesterday an ad by ‘RenewAsACrew’ went live on a massive rotating billboard in Times Square – and in LA (and maybe elsewhere?) they had a plane fly a ‘Save Our Flag Means Death’-banner over the Max HQ (as far as I’m aware), as well as an ad-truck, driving around with a massive QR-code, linking people directly to the petition. The campaign is also gaining a ton of international press. All of this is very positive, because it gives David Jenkins and his team some niiice leverage, when and if he starts shopping the show around for a third season at a different network (if he’s not already in the midst of doing that) – and even though we don’t actually know anything atm, it feels like there’s been a very positive change in the past few days 😊 It would be fantastic, if you guys would share the petition-link on your next YouTube video — saveofmd.com should lead you straight to the petition 🙌😊🌈

2024-01-18 04:47:47 +0000 UTCYour comments about the lack of rancor between the pirate queen and Stede's crew is not an uncommon complaint about S2. My understanding is that they had a longer story arc planned, but were shorted two episodes AND didn't feel confident that they would get a S3, so they tightened up quite a few plotlines, for better (wrapping up some arcs) and worse (inconsistencies in tone). I think you can see the effects of those changes the most in this episode and the next. Overall I think they did a great job with what Max them in terms of episode count and budget.

2024-01-17 18:09:23 +0000 UTCHi Allie, the guys are super busy editing lots of reactions for us and I know Saltburn in particular was a big (emotionally as well as physically!) task, so although there are certain shows we all want more of we just need to be a bit patient and remember how many shows and movies they’re working on. We do get lots of content - definitely more than other channels - and IWTV is coming, so don’t think they’ve just given up on it. I’m looking forward to it too 🫶
