The dynamics are wild and emotional, but it's a great perspective from a vampires view which I 💕 love, you can feel the intensity of living/dying this way, time has another meaning. Looking forward to viewing more with you, thank you for this

2024-01-23 11:54:25 +0000 UTCI have read all the books of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, Lestat was her favorite vampire. Most of the books feature Lestat as a one of the main characters. One of the things most people ignore is the fact that Louis never tells Lestat he loves him. Louis’s character is flawed, rather depressed all the time. In one of the last books of the Vampire Chronicles, Louis finally realizes his love for Lestat. The actors in Interview With the Vampire series, are outstanding. 🌹🖤

2024-01-23 01:01:09 +0000 UTCI am so excited for you to see episode 7. This is such a great show and parts of it really hold true to Anne Rice's books. I recommend the books as they are so good. I cannot tell you how many times I have read Interview With The Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, and Queen of The Damned (by the way I am so hoping they get to the Queen in this series...suffice it to say she is ruthless). IWTVampire is my favorite book of all time and Anne Rice my fav author. Oh and maybe it's because I had already seen episode 7 that I wasn't squeamish about all the blood and gore (unlike some....lol jk).

2024-01-22 22:43:05 +0000 UTCWhat Lestat said about Magnus and how he became a vampire is 100% true! So was the abuse he suffered from his father and brothers. You call out Lestat for his "manipulations" but never point out Claudia's. Also this is Louis account of his life with Lestat and his already shown that his memory is spotty. The second season is still based on the first book, at least some of it anyway. The Vampire Lestat is the 2nd book and you learn all about how Lestat became a vampire. After Interview Louis doesn't appear much in the rest of the book series. Lestat is the main vampire/anti-hero of Anne Rise's series of books.

Like it's toxic, but in an utterly human way. I also love any time we get backstory on Daniel because he's one of my favorite characters. I love the complexity of him and how there's never any pressure by the narrative to "define" him. And I adore how strong Claudia is. She's so well written, I just adore her. And the Rashid appearance at the end! I screamed when I watched that for the first time!
