They were together for several years and Omar said as much in an interview. It was a pretty serious relationship with both families accepting their relationship and frequently spending time with each other’s families, too. The fact that Omar rated his relationship as 3 out of a possible 5 and described it uneasily as ‘fun’ in an awkward interview a while back suggested that it was probably in a bit of trouble. They broke up some months ago and Omar has been spending time with his long-term friends and concentrating on his music. Paid off, though, didn’t it? 👏🏼🤩

I remember seeing Omar talking about how he had to more or less start from scratch in terms of dancing when he joined the boy band. The other members were already confident dancers and Omar was self-taught, although he then took lessons to catch up. It’s hard to believe that now, when you watch him dancing in music videos like this one and ‘Moving Like That’, which is phenomenal.

I saw him on June 1st and he’s phenomenal! The boy can SAAAANNNGGG!!! I hope he blows up. He seems genuinely down to earth and appreciative. The representation, on two levels, is sorely needed. I’ll be seeing him in October in NYC. His new music is different from his other stuff, but I love it all.

It sold-out in seconds (in fact Omar had to upgrade it from the original venue due to demand), but I'm sure you can find a way! He is INCREDIBLE live!

Alex! Josh! Thank you so so much for reviewing this so quickly!! I absolutely loved this MV - it's my fave he's released so far I think production quality is fabulous. He also released another song along with this one - it's called Bye Bye it's such a banger! I loved this MV so much - it just screams queer joy to me <3 I love how sweet the expression of queer love is in this video (definitely boyfriend vibes I love it!! ) and I'm so happy he's more comfortable being true to himself now. Omar is going on tour later this year and is doing a show in London @ Heaven- it is unfortunately sold out but you guys should try to go to his future shows since he's planning on touring more next year! Josh's comment about this being very KPOP is astute - Omar mentioned in a TikTok live awhile ago that one of his new releases was presented as a KPOP song or was originally written with the idea of being a KPOP song? I'm not sure if it was in reference to this or Bye Bye but yeah! His love interest in this MV was an extra on Young Royals!! :) As for his outfit the pearl cage/ harness thingy is separate from the vest he's wearing! And the lace sleeves are also a separate thing as well xD I love you both and everything you do! He is such a talented singer/performer. 😃 He also performed at Melodifestivalen 3 times trying to get to represent Sweden in Eurovision; once with his group FO&O in 2017(the first time he came to my attention) and twice later by himself.
