I've finished this commission yesterday. I made this for Blair Anthony
I learned a few things:
- things not as hard as it seem (bear trap)
- NPR shading is really good because you don't have to mess with shading artifacts (which usually takes some time), you don't even have to shade things smooth, love it
- particle and force field settings
- secondary outlines make things look better!!!
- normal output of the texture coordinate node works kinda like the shader to RGB shading, I applied this to the bear trap
- google icons save you a ton of time, thanks Polyfjord
- the lines in the middle of the leaves are curves, I scaled down the end of them with alt+s
It's not my favourite animation but I still like it, my hands were tied a bit, I would use a different color scheme. I haven't done anything recently so it was a great practice.
