The “Umm” in your cheeks when the pacifier is popped into your mouth.
Your hesitant curiosity in your eyes when I beckon for you to crawl to me.
The hesitation that comes just before the spoonful of food is slid into your mouth.
The increasingly darkening pink shade of your face as I unfasten each tape from the sides of your diaper.
Your silly efforts to conceal the condition of your diaper with your hands when I can tell already just by how low it sags from your bottom.
The little “meep” you respond with when I ask you in public if you’re in need of a change.
