Oh I wouldn't have thought of Kino's Jouney being similar but thinking about it I see it, it's not fantasy it's about a girl traveling to various different countries deciding where she wants to settle down. Stays everywhere for 3 days and the show doesn't shy away from darker themes. She gets in gun fights and such at different times. She also has a talking motorcycle. I think everything here is vague enough not to be a spoiler or is shown in the first episode. There's 2 seasons a 2003 and a 2017. I think only the 2017 series is up anywhere for streaming though.
