Why did I move the game from L2D to Spine2D?
At first glance, V1.0 already looked pretty good.
But I hit the ceiling of what L2D could offer: terrible issues with optimization, compatibility, and scaling. Unfortunately, trying to expand and evolve that version turned out to be a dead end. So here's - the SPINE version.
This is the [BETA 1]
It has stripped-down functionality compared to L2D version 1.0.
Its sperm physics are simplified, sound is disabled, no FX, customization is limited, and overall it still feels clumsy. That’s because my goal for now was simply to bring the project back to life - just to make it WORK. That’s exactly what we’re going to test. All of the above will be in BETA 2.

This release took me far longer than expected - nearly a full month of work in total.
No, nothing happened to me: I didn’t get sick, poisoned, or lost in the woods. My internet didn’t go down, and my PC (surprisingly) didn’t burn out - it worked every single day right along with me.
It just required that much time, effort, and nerves... Yep, this "mini-game". I invested so much of my own time, and so much of your patience, that I couldn’t show up empty-handed. I had to focus entirely on this task.
The model was redrawn and rebuilt twice, recompiled in Unity countless times, and most of the code was rewritten over and over again. It felt like replacing the circulatory system of a living creature with a brand-new one, and then swapping out its nervous system too.
I’m extremely grateful for your patience. I thought every day about how you were waiting for me, and it made me anxious. I’ve got a ton to catch up on.
