Steam + Rework, Update #11

Hello!

Got quite a few things done, from some scenes, to the end report screen. Alexa's scene took a bit longer than I wanted, but you can read below why (though be warned, they contain spoilers). I wasn't able to get a license for a particular font I'm using, so I bought a Photoshop plugin that allows me to make my own font and created it myself. It's now trademarked as the AO font. 😁

Let's talk lewds!

As many of you have supported me since the beginning, you know how the project started out. The original intent some years ago, was to stick with a softcore approach. As per the release of episode 4, that has been changed. I've largely stuck with my vision, but was willing to compromise on the lewd front. The episodes before the fourth release, still contain pure softcore scenes, and they're currently being replaced with an uncensored variety. I was never interested in creating these scenes, as they take a very long time to create, and halts the progression of the story and character development. Due to my unconventional workflow, adding these uncensored scenes made me having to rethink my pipeline, to be able to include genitals in their full glory. None of the default store bought stuff that everyone else uses works for Unreal Engine, as the shaders simply don't support a certain mixture of things. It's impossible to combine something that's translucent AND utilize subsurface scattering on skin at the same time, as UE is incapable of rendering that. So, the only option I had was to take the DAZ base genitals and go to town on them in Substance Painter to make them look decent enough and make them work within the engine. In terms of creating the scenes, I try to make them interesting enough and befitting the characters and their personalities.

I didn't give Alexa's original scene in episode 2 too much thought, though there's a certain psychology behind it. You know what she does, and likely can guess why she does it. But when it came down to the sexual act itself, it felt a little generic with just a bunch of basic positions. So, for the next release (and if you're even willing to go down Alexa's path) her scene has some significant changes (other than the new animation style), more befitting her character and a little more on the dominant side. It only dawned on me later when I worked on her tragic past in episode 3, that it would be very unlikely she'd allow anyone to do her from behind, considering that's how she was forcefully taken. This ties back in with her scene in the locker room in episode 4, where you're discussing trust issues... a scene easy to miss if you have the hots for Diana instead! Anyway, Alexa allows you to take her in some rougher ways from a vulnerable position. This is an important scene, as she's shown opening up to you, and allow you in on a level that's incredibly intimate for her character.
