A Shot in the Dark: Help improve translations

Big news! We are translating A Shot in the Dark into multiple languages in preparation for our Steam release. This has been a goal of ours for a long time so we can make the game available and accessible to as many players as possible.

If you are a native speaker of any of these languages, you can help improve the translation!

Chinese (Simplified)
French
Italian
Polish
Portuguese
Russian
Spanish
Turkish

(We're going to start with these languages first, but may add more in the future.)

If you're interested in helping to improve the translations, then please join our A Shot in the Dark Crowdin page by clicking here. Crowdin makes it easy to improve the translations directly from your browser and reference the visuals from the game for additional context.

The ways you can help on Crowdin include:

Upvoting or downvoting the current translation
Suggesting better translations
Proofreading and editing suggestions

Volunteers who help improve the translations will receive:

a Steam key with full ownership of the game including the DLC (Walkthrough feature & Walkthrough PDF) when the game releases. (We have alternatives for those who don't use Steam, just let us know.)
early access to new content in order to help facilitate translation of each chapter as quickly as possible
credit in the About and Credits sections of the game under a name or pseudonym of your choosing

Also be sure to join the #translation channel on our Discord server if you have any questions or want to chat with other volunteers. Discord is also where we will make announcements about claiming your Steam key and early access to new content.
