It seems to be either forgotten or derided in the wake of JLD's "I will have all of the Emmys, thank you very much" run on VEEP and how much more Critically Acclaimed that show was, but THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE is a treat - hell of a cast (including Gregg, Wanda Sykes, Hamish Linklater), dynamite performance/characterization from JLD, good time.

2025-03-05 15:17:42 +0000 UTCI had the opportunity to meet the brilliant Emily St. James at her book event at the Strand yesterday evening and only had the chance to read the inscription this morning. It calls back to a remark she made on this episode that made me laugh so hard, βThe Daughterhood of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.β π I have a lot going on so were it not for this episode, I probably wouldnβt have found out about the event, or wouldnβt have until after it happened which is fairly typical. Thanks, Chris and Joe! π
