If you are interested in Fugo's story as a character, then read this. Hirohiko Araki, the creator and writer of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga series started Golden Wind in 1995. He intended to have Fugo go on a villain arch after separating from the gang in the first encounter with the boss. At this time though, Araki was going through a deep depression and he decided to leave Fugo's character as it was. He then Illustrated a book called Purple Haze Feedback that was written by Kohei Kadono, this book is the canon story of what Fugo did 6 months after separating from the gang. Even though Fugo only had so much screen time in the anime/manga, he's still a fan favourite because what his character meant to Araki as a writer.
