For me it was a smooth sail from the get go. Idk why but episode 4 pops up in my head? I don’t even remember what happens there all I know is that early on the MC… idk if I should say this but he dies and then it goes from there.. also as you watch you are introduced to new characters, new stuff, etc. I will say in the beginning there is some stuff going on but overall it’s chill. I am sorry it has been awhile. I just remember liking it from the beginning and vibing to the openings

It was the same for me luckily it was around the start of Covid-19 and I got sick (not by Covid) at the time so I watched 8-14 episodes a day from like 6-7 am till noon. Finished it in a month Ofc not everyone got that amount of free time but the anime is actually good. just skip the fillers and it should be 200 something episodes. For me Bleach anime is better than Naruto/Shippuden. Idk I like the character designs, world, story. Also I immediately fell in love with Rukia (the girl with the short black hair) very funny and charming character. Also the MC name is Ichigo so you were very close
