Quick Question About Sword Art Online

Alicization fixed a lot of the problems SAO had in its earlier seasons. The second Alicization season has a lot of escalation in the stakes at play as well. But, what I really want to see is Unital Ring getting animated, it's basically a collision of worlds and some of the Seed games that were only mentioned in the series before that arc come into play.

I've been keeping up with your reactions but I got a little caught up and started watching Alicization and I've been really impressed with where they've taken the show compared to the second season, I think you'll really enjoy it, definitely found it more interesting personally and the animation (especially the fights) is gorgeous.

Ordinal Scale introduces the Augmented Reality technology to SAO and is a pretty good movie. It's not required at all to understand Alicization, but it fills in the time gap a little.

Yes. There is technology invented in the movie that is used in the following season. Plus it's a great movie.

I would say not necessarily cause theres only like one scene in season 5 that will reference the movie and it’s not necessary to understand the plot so you don’t have to but it is a cool movie and extra content
