Hello!

I'll start by saying this week has been one of the hardest for me writing-wise in a long time. A small part is due to travel and being out of my routine, but a larger part has to do with something terrible: math.

I am trying to figure out the best way to balance the training sequences that I love, with progression, and now, math. It combined to create a massive case of writer's block. Ugh, this week really sucked.

The good news is I got through it. I'm not thrilled with the chapters. I'm scared I over-explained. There are a couple of critical pieces necessary for the book as a whole but I'm not convinced I did the best job conveying it. I'll be interested in your comments. Did I mention math? Hours and hours of math. *shakes fist at the sky

Okay, enough complaining. On the bright side, I also worked out a critical detail on how the ending sequence will work in this book (thanks, Jason!).

I hope you had a good week and it involved very little math.

I opened up chapters 6 and 7 to Root.

I opened up chapters 8, 9, and 10 to Harvester.

I added chapters 11, 12, and 13 to Step Master, Blapy's Favorite, and Divine.

This week was another prime example of why I need you. These chapters, even if they aren't perfect, only exist because you are here. I can guarantee you I would have finished Dune instead of writing if that weren't the case. Thank you so much for being here for me.
