Rapturous 7.9.2022 Back and Better
Added 2022-07-10 00:29:38 +0000 UTCI want to say thank you, deeply thank you all for your patience. Making a game is a turbulent process. I won't spend too long making excuses but finding time to arrange the assets and finalize ideas was difficult. I've got so much to show but it needs implementation.
I'm really proud of this one. I fixed and changed so many things that I can't even formulate a changelog for it (I've taken a step back from doing detailed logs since it just slows down my progress.)
Here are a few highlights:
-Decks are now SAVED and don't need to be constantly remade each time you open the game.
-There are some new cards, status effects, and abilities to make use of.
-The shop's selling system is now more consistent.
-it's now possible to LEVEL UP by spending source.
-There's a lot of new assets and story characters.
-The pub will become unlockable as a place to meet new side characters. The first is already in the game! His name is Famir!
I am very open to feedback and I'm always looking to improve if it's within my limitations. I hope the next update can be even better!

Yeah last night i just deleted My saves and did a full restart and it all worke di got to experience the new Content on the lake and the kitchen with the Cute Kitty ~ Very Nice >///> cant wait to see whats coming next :D Always enjoy playing with the nice cast of characters and content >////<

2022-07-12 11:09:19 +0000 UTCOh, someone else had the same problem. there's some dialogue you should get from The Commission that doesn't work for some people right away. Try going there a few times to make it occur then go to rampart lake.

2022-07-12 06:18:06 +0000 UTCYeah, part of the issue of releasing updates like this is that I can't tell if a bug exists from a unique route, a glitch, an unintended shortcut, or just differences in the versions causing a glitch I'll never see again. Other folks have been able to access mila and Famir without an issue so maybe try a fresh save file? Possibly delete the old saves too if you've had them for several versions

Part of the difficulty with development has been updates letting people accidentally get off the intended order of events. Sometimes a new game helps but i don't want you to have to do that unless its a last resort

Im always keen to see future projects you do Zyyph ~ Question i am having trouble with progress to the story - i havent unlocked the pub and some scenes all i know i havent done is defeated the two Enemies in The Shroom forest and The Naga in The first area >.< trying to figure out how to get to "Rampart Lake" to continue on to meet eventually "Mila & Famir" Me personally i can understand the time needed to make a detailed Guide and thats better used for other things but even just a very simple guide or once the Rapturous is fully completed would help alot >.< ~
