Turn-based Adventure
Added 2022-09-14 22:52:43 +0000 UTCI've been busting my butt on quite a few little projects and I've been convinced by some confidants to share them! Here's a demo of a little piece of what I've been working on. There's a lot more to come but I figured that this may be fun for you all to try out.
I'm very open to ideas on mechanics and additions I can make to improve it! The goal with this build was to flesh out the four major options and the basic play.
How to Play:
Turns are decided by the speed of the white action bar. Enemy attack speed is randomized at the start of the game.
Fighting increases your blue energy, which will allow you to use your skills for increased damage potential.
Grab will incapacitate an enemy. On their turn they may take damage or break out.
Defending is possible if an enemy is grabbed. It will convert them into HP and immediately defeat them.
There's no win condition as of now. If no enemies remain the game will simply not
This is part of a larger project I'm working on that will include many small games like this. It's been taking the lion's share of my time, but it's all about exploring what making games means to me and trying new avenues for improvement.
