Pit Raiders Weekly Devlog: Stand-Up

Welcome to the third Pit Raiders devlog!

State of the Game
Progress has been slow but steady. The transition to the 3D space has caused a few issues but this week I've cleared most of them up. I'm getting very close to finishing the core gameplay loop, I just need to design a few more rooms and finish bug testing UI elements. Once all those things are solved up it'll be a matter of designing more maps and more enemies. The foundation seems to be holding pretty well and once there's more content I want to drop some versions for you folks to try! Still aiming for late September. 

Current Features
This week I put a lot of focus on the dialogue handler. It's needed a bit of love for a while and I think it's now in a pretty good state. I also finished several assets to use with it because I couldn't help myself. The rest of the development time I had went toward fixing issues that arose from the transition to 3D space, objects getting scaled incorrectly or being positioned in strange ways.

The character art is gorgeous so far. I like the warm pallet on the sergal. Can't wait to try it out when the time comes.
