Pit Raiders Devlog: Delays due to PSU failure.
Added 2023-09-24 21:36:55 +0000 UTCHey all, some bad news. My PSU is failing (hopefully that's the problem, PSU failures are a bit hard to diagnose.) The PSU (Power Supply Unit) is obviously a critical part of a computer. They tend to survive between 3-7 years on average, of course mine is on the further end of that scale. The error causes my computer to restart suddenly and without warning, wiping any unsaved work and potentially corrupting files. I've done some sleuthing and found the critical errors in my windows system reports, which diagnose it as some kind of sudden fault in power supply.
I can still work but I've lost around an hour and a half of programming effort so far to random restarts that wipe out all my unsaved work. Luckily, so far, nothing of value has been lost. I'm ordering a new PSU but if this situation gets worse it may push back a release of the first alpha to next week rather than Friday. Apologies. I couldn't have expected my PSU would finally start breaking down this week of all times. Thanks for the patience.

I lost several hours of work, but was able to redo it and replace the PSU today! A lil setback.
