[Update] What's Next for Dergie?

Just a quick update of what's coming up next! I'm going to LVFC this week, but when I get back we're kicking right into gear.

Dergie Clicker

Dergie Clicker 0.1 ended up being pretty stable, which was an unexpected clutch! It seems like folks are having fun with it and I love to see that. I'm still collecting data for the final release but the goal is to have it done and finished by the end of the month.

I've already fixed the graphical bugs and added some new things to the game, going to add one more level of achievements and some extra touches for a 1.0 release.

Press To Struggle

I've been kinda agonizing over the direction of P2S for a few months. I really like the world and plot that's been written for the game, but the format isn't really working for me. The visual novel and the minigames don't have the robustness I'd like when crammed into the same engine.

I've decided to separate out all the plot elements and turn the game back into an anthology of minigames, mainly for commissions and experimenting with small game projects. The engine has been tweaked to run a bit more smoothly with less graphical glitches, and I'm going to open up commissions for it starting next month, while I prepare to do another short game project in the interim.

The intended format will be that P2S will always release to patrons one version ahead. You'll always be able to access to newest versions of the game here, and the public will get releases that are more stable and finalized.

Future Projects

I've been working on a revival project for Rapturous, but I'm going to keep it on the backline. It's very ambitious and I'd like to give it time to cook while I explore other options. Dergie Clicker was very fun and came out with surprising ease, I'd like to follow this line of development where I make smaller, more concise projects. It's good for learning and I feel it offers more to those who support me.

As always, thanks for the comments, bug testing, patronage, and positivity you've all shared! Making games and art consistently is a challenge, but I feel very fulfilled doing it for you all. More streams and new things are comin up.
