They say multiple times in the movie that changing the past doesn't change the future. The past versions of these characters are a different timeline, and interacting with them doesn't affect the main timeline.

2023-11-05 07:30:02 +0000 UTCSo, I don't really think you understood how the timeline works, basically if something changes in that timeline then instead of affecting the main timeline it just makes and alternate reality that has those changes, but if you fix what you changed those alternate timelines could be gone. But there are some things that you can't fix like Thanos dusting away so he can't go back and fix the timeline. But the way that can be fixed will be introduced in Loki once you get to it.

Also idk if you read comments but they needed a climatic ending to such a huge story plus Robert Downey Jr (Ironman) was 43 in 2008 when all this started and it went on for 11 years till Endgame. He’s almost 60 now so I’m sure he was ready to leave the franchise, but he will be missed. There is no Tony Stark without RDJ

First you've still got Spider-Man: Far From Home as the last Phase 3 movie then you've got WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Black Widow, What If?, Shang-Chi, Eternals, Hawkeye, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Moon Knight, Dr Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Ms Marvel, Thor: Love and Thunder, She-Hulk, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Considering you seem to really like Captain Marvel even though a lot of fans don't I'd suggest giving everything a chance instead of just listening to what others say about certain projects.

2023-06-23 23:59:20 +0000 UTCIt's like how Phase 1+2 didn't do much to advance the infinity saga it was more focusing on introducing all the new characters then Phase 3 showed a lot more of the infinity stones and acted as preludes for Infinity War/Endgame. Phase 4+5 are epilogues for the Infinity Saga as well as introducing the new heroes. Don should watch all the new movies and at least try Episode 1 of each D+ show.

2023-06-23 22:52:15 +0000 UTCThe explanation for why time travel doesnt work the same in movies and the actual way it would work is something like this I think: If you're in the present and there's something that happened in the past which makes you wanna travel back and fix it, once you fix that problem then in the new present there wouldn't be anything to make you wanna travel back to the past meaning you would have never fixed that problem, which would make the problem occur again making an infinite loop. So the way it would theoretically work is when you change something in the past it branches off as it's own new timeline.

The whole point is to show the effects of end game while also introducing new characters for future movies. Think of it like a new chapter of the story. For anyone who say phase ain't not worth watch they are straight up wrong I mean don't get me wrong some shows had flaws but they all serve a higher purpose in the story which is the multiverse saga.

2023-06-23 21:40:28 +0000 UTCDon here's how time travel works. when you go back to the past and kill for example baby Thanos what that does is create a new timeline where Thanos was killed and when you return to your present day every thing will be the same with Thanos still have snapped away half the universe. This is why Loki is so important because that whole concept is explained in more detail.

End credits usually build upon or further the story, Endgame is the end of the Infinity Saga so there's no more story to tell. The Multiverse Saga is next and tbh there's only about a handful of shows/movies that advance the main story. You could either do Far From Home or WandaVision next. Loki, moreso the finale, is probably the most important factor as far as setting up what comes next, but can be watched anytime (you'll find out why) before Antman 3. I'd take a break from the MCU since majority of the next phase is mid and watch the Deadpool series.
